Folks had asked if I could provide a sample database beyond just the coding examples I’d provided (part 1 and part 2), so I got ready to upload one. Then, I thought, “I bet I can add full-text searching to that real easily.” Unfortunately, I hit snag after snag on adding the full-text searching, so I decided I’d post what I have working.
When I do finish up the full-text search capability, I will not only write about how I coded that, but update the sample database as well. Until then, enjoy the sample!

n9.01 required right? My 8.53 client reports invalid NSF version as I try to open the NSF locally. Our test servers are on 9.01 but our production servers are not upgraded yet so I haven’t updated my clients to 9.01 at work yet. I worry about supporting our older client applications with an new designer.
Ah, yes, I upgraded to 9.01 last week. I’d originally created it on 8.53, but had created a new replica on the new laptop in 9.01. I think it’s an ODS thing – that you could create a copy in the Notes client and it would be accessible after OR there might be something you could do with a compact on the server to downgrade.
